China-WHO Biennial Collaborative Project (2020-2021)：

It is a core mission to participate in international and collaborative research inthe framework of WHO program on mental health and substance abuse. Currently, we aresupporting the Disease Control Division and Center for Project Supervision andManagement of National Health Commission (NHC, China) on the implementation of theChina-WHO Biennial Collaborative Project, Adolescent Psychological CrisisInterventionMechanism and Technical Specifications. The outcome of this Shanghai-based projectmayprovide a model of intervention for other provinces, contributing to the objectivesofthe Guiding Opinion on Strengthening Mental Health Services jointly issued in 2016by 22Chinese ministries including the NHC.

WHO ICD Field Testing

The International Classification of Diseases is a core constitutional function of WHO.Mandated by the WHO headquarters,Our WHOCC has undertaken the lead of the field testingof ICD on mental, behavioural or neurodevelopmenfal disorders (MBND) in China fordecades.The results of the testing help WHO to make enhancements to the content and thestructure of ICD. The field testing for the 11th revision of ICD (ICD-11) is currentlyunderway.
