The “Evidence-based Medicine” group, founded in August 2020, is directed by Prof. Chunbo Li, a chief psychiatrist and principal investigator at Shanghai Mental Health Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The research group has been engaged in evidence-based medicine study in clinical diagnosis and intervention for mental disorders, and has carried a great deal of work focused on establishment of evidence-based medicine database, quality assessment of clinical trials, and development and evaluation of evidence-based clinical guidelines and expert consensus. The systematic reviews done by the team was cited by NICE, APA, Maudsley Psychiatric Prescription Guide and other international and domestic guidelines, expert consensus and reference books. The national continuing medical education project “Cochrane Systematic Review and Meta-analysis Training Course” has been held for over 15 years to promote internationally advanced and standardized evidence-based medicine research methods in the clinical research field in China and has become a famous brand in this field.
