Department of Clinical Electrophysiology. It is the earliest team to carry out clinical and biological research on psychosis prodromal syndrome in China, with 8 members, including 1 chief psychiatrists, 2 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, 1 attending physician, 1 nurse, 1 technician, and the director is Dr. Wang Jijun, who also is one of Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leaders. The department is dedicated to the early identification and intervention of psychosis. We have completed many key projects such as the 13th five year plan research on major chronic non-infectious diseases prevention, National Institute of mental health, the Ministry of Science and technology of the United States, the National Natural Science Foundation of China et al. We have published more than 200 papers in journals, like JAMA psychiatry. The team has not only taken the lead in building a special psychiatric risk specialty in Shanghai, but also trained more than 1000 early diagnosis and treatment professionals nationwide, which has played a substantial role in promoting the development of early intervention in schizophrenia in China.
