The lab of memory and cognitive disorders was established in August 2021. Our lab uses the mouse as a model organism to study the molecular, cellular and circuit mechanisms of memory formation and extinction, and the pathogenesis of mental disorders associated with memory impairment. While focusing on biological questions, our group also works closely with doctors and clinical scientists in the hope that the knowledge of basic science can be transformed effectively to benefit patients. We are a group of scientists at multiple levels including PI, research assistants, postdocs and graduate students, and are working on several government-funded projects including key development and research projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
