Introduction

The“Perception-Action Integration and Brain Health”group, founded in January 2020, is directed by Dr. Lihui Wang, a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Psychology and Behavioral Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Shanghai Mental Health Center. The research group develops cognitive neuroscience-oriented models for mental disorders, and conducts both basic and applied research constrained by the theoretical models. With the combination of cutting-edge techniques such as eye-tracking, electroencephalography (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and magnetoencephalography (MEG), the group aims to achieve “understanding brain, caring for brain, motivating brain”. Current research is funded by the German Research Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality.
