Introduction

The Behavioral and Affective Disorders Neuroscience Research group was established in 2021 and is headed by Zhu Lijuan, a researcher at the Shanghai Mental Health Center . Our research group mainly focuses on the pathogenesis of affective disorders such as anxiety disorder and depression. Our research group used transgenic and gene knockout technologies to construct mouse disease models related to affective disorders. Through histomorphology, molecular biology, opto/chemical genetics, electrophysiology and multi-omics analysis methods, the behavioral regulation mechanism of anxiety/depression is explored from the molecular, cellular, neural circuit, behavior and other levels, and the disease is searched for Key intervention target molecules to develop potential therapeutic drugs. At present, the research group has received a number of national, provincial and ministerial level project funding.
