Since the establishment of medical cooperation with Nantong Zilang Hospital in 1997, Shanghai Mental Health Alliance has been developing continuously. Over the past 20 years, its scale has been growing, expanding its service coverage to Hainan, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Yunnan, Heilongjiang Provinces and other places. It has covered 12 psychiatric hospitals in Shanghai and 34 psychiatric hospitals and psychiatry departments of general hospitals in 12 provinces and autonomous regions of China. The Alliance carries out all-round exchanges in medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, and prevention through two-way referrals, joint develop-ment of sub-specialty, multi-center research, personnel training, new technology promotion, hospital management output, etc.
In the future, the Alliance will continue to give full play to its own advantages, constantly explore new medical operation mode, speed up the building of the medical service system, and strive to provide high-quality medical services for the general public, so as to create a new “Shanghai mode“for the mental health alliance.
