She has led multiple research projects, including sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects from the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, and key interdisciplinary projects between medicine and engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of affective disorders and comorbid somatic diseases. She has long been dedicated to integrating basic and clinical research on affective disorders and comorbid somatic conditions. Her team has developed a mature research framework covering genetic and molecular screening, stress-related circuit mechanism analysis, chronic stress models combined with multidimensional behavioral assessments, and intervention validation based on neuromodulation and pharmacotherapy. This approach enables a closed-loop advancement from animal models to translational evidence within a unified research framework.
