On the morning of May 6, 2023, we were honored to invite Professor Keith Kelly, an Immunophysiologist and former chairman of the PsychoNeuroImmunology Research Society (PNI) at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Professor Neil Harrison from Cardiff University, and Professor Michael Bailey from Ohio State University to visit our hospital. President ZHAO Min, Vice President WANG Zhen, Vice President SHAO Yang and others received the guests.

Three professors introduced their research fields, current academic positions, and work content respectively. President ZHAO Min presented the current development of our hospital's scientific research and clinical practice. Vice President WANG Zhen introduced the situations of our hospital's scientific research and teaching, as well as the hospital's infrastructure plan. After that, Director ZHANG Chen and Director CHEN Jinghong from the Editorial Department emphasized the development history, submission rate, and rejection rate of the journal "General Psychiatry" which published and distributed by our hospital.

Both parties of the meeting had in-depth exchanges and discussions on future cooperation, especially in terms of good collaboration intentions in international academic exchanges and journal construction. After the meeting, President ZHAO Min presented our cultural and creative products to the three professors and invited them to visit Gallery 600. In the future, our center will continue to deepen academic exchanges, and at the same time, actively promote journal construction and high-quality development of the hospital.
