The group obtained three NSFC grants, four provincial grants and several more commission level grants, including talent grants such as NSFC Excellent Young Scholar grant, Shanghai Rising star grant, and discipline leader grant for Shanghai Health Commission system.
Research Domains:
The main research interest is neural circuits plasticity in addiction and depression. The team combined animal studies (e.g. electrophysiological recording, optogenetic circuit mapping, behavioral approaches) and human studies (e.g. EEG, brain imaging, and different neuromodulation tools) to dissect brain plasticity accompanies different diseases.
The panel of experimental techniques: brain slice patch clamp recording , in vivo multichannel electrophysiological recording, optogenetics, histology and circuit mapping, single-cell sequencing, non-invasive neuromodulation (TMS, tDCS, tACS), EEG related technologies (EEG, ERP, TEP), brain imaging (MRI, PET), etc.
